Resignation of Assistant General Manager, Dubai Office

The Board of Directors of Samudera Shipping Line Ltd (the "Company ") would like to announce that Mr. Saliya Ananda Senanayake, who is responsible for the trade and business operation in our Dubai office has resigned as the Assistant General Manager of the Company with effect from 31 May 2004.
