Samudera Took Delivery Of Three Deck Ships

Further to the Company's announcements made on 27 Apr 2005 and 10 Nov 2005 (Announcement no. 00149 and 00125 respectively), the Board of Directors (the "Board") is pleased to announce the delivery of two container deck ships and a coal deck ship in late April and May 2006.

The two container deck ships, Sinar Jambi and Sinar Demak, with a capacity of 265 teus each, will be deployed in the inter-island container shipping business in Indonesia.

The coal deck ship, Sinar Tuban with a capacity of 5,500 dwt will be deployed to meet the demand of coal transportation in Indonesia.

The remaining two container deck ships and a coal deck ship are expected to be delivered during the second half of this year.

Save as disclosed above, none of the Directors or Substantial Shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction.
