Samudera net profit up 1.8%

SAMUDERA Shipping Line's full-year net profit crept up 1.8 per cent to $20.8 million despite a 22.8 per cent rise in turnover to $450.9 million for the year ended Dec 31.

Earnings per share dropped to 4.5 cents from 4.64 cents while net tangible assets per share rose to 35.87 cents from 30.99 cents. Dividend of 0.62 cent a share was declared.
