Smooth as silk for Samudera

Singapore: Samudera Shipping Line has set up a Dubai joint venture logistics company called Silkargo.

Silkargo provides inbound, outbound and third party logistics services including supply-chain management. Using the United Arab Emirates as its Middle East hub, it has leased warehousing space in the Jebel Ali Free Trade Zone Area. Samudera said that it believed Dubai was uniquely located as a gateway for cargo flow to and from the Emirates, the Gulf region as well as CIS states.
