PRESS CLIPPINGS   The Straits Times Oct 29, 2004 Samudera Profit swells to $23m SAMUDERA Shipping Line yesterday reported a net profit of $23.2 million for the quarter ended Sept 30, up more than 10 times from $2.2 million in the same period last year. The group's revenue rose 25.7 per cent to $165.4 million, arising from the deployment of three additional coal carriers and one chemical carrier. Contributions from new subsidiaries in India and Thailand, together with an increase in container volume and improved freight rates also helped.
